Kevin Wade Starr

Kevin Wade Starr, 45, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Thursday November 18, 2021.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday November 26, 2021 in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

A native of Rockingham County, NC, he was a loved son of John  Starr and Martha  Carter and had lived in Reidsville most of his life. He was a roofer and always enjoyed working with his hands outdoors. He was an exceptional artist and for one piece of art, he received the Hallmark Award and was even recognized by the President of the United States. Kevin loved children and was a favorite friend and playmate to his nephews. He was a good hearted person, who would give someone the shirt off his back and  had been known to give the hat off his head.  He was preceded in death by his brother: Lindsay Starr.

Survivors include his father: John Starr (Amy) of Snow Camp, NC, mother: Martha  Carter of Reidsville, son: Spencer Starr (Kendra) of Reidsville, brothers: Bud Adam Capps of Reidsville, Billy Starr and Brayden Starr of Snow Camp, NC, sisters: Mandi Korn (B.J.) of Reidsville, and Christy Gwynn of Snow Camp, NC, grandchildren: Evan and Ember and nephews: Carter and Brantley
