Katherine Knowles Jones, 89, of Reidsville, NC passed away on Sunday March 1, 2020 at her home. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday March 4, 2020 in Reidlawn Cemetery. A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late William Mack and Mary Jackson Knowles and had lived in Rockingham, County most of her life. She was a retired employee of Lorrilard Tobacco Co. in Greensboro, NC and was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence T. Jones, daughter: Jennifer Ellen Jones, son: Jeffrey Knowles Jones. Survivors include her brother: Lal Knowles of Reidsville, sisters: Peggy K. Foster (Ed) of Reidsville and Josephine K. Talley (Bob) of Duluth, GA, niece: Penny Jolly (Jay) of Asheville, NC and a nephew: Bruce Talley (Nancie) of Duluth, GA. Citty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
