Julia Ann Robinson Moore, 92, went to be with her Lord on Friday, October 29,2021. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Kenny Houston and Rev. Dave Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetary.
A native of Reidsville, she was the daughter of the late James and Pearl Strader Robinson, and lived in Reidsville most of her life. Before her health began to fail, she was an active member of First Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir, and helped with the children’s choirs. Julia was a retired elementary school teacher, and taught with the Reidsville City School system for 19 years. Affectionately called ‘Juji’, she was the happiest at home on the farm, surrounded by loved ones, and caring for family members and friends. Family was her greatest joy. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Moore, her son James Robinson “Robin” Moore, her sister, Mary Jane Robinson Amos, and her brothers Joe Robinson and James Robinson.
Surviving is her son, Kevin Moore of Reidsville, her daughter, Ann Moore Davis (Lee), of Lexington, her grandchildren, Jonathan Moore (Erin), Samuel Moore, Hunter Davis (Laura), Kathryn Davis Packett (Ryan) , Jack Davis, and great granddaughter, Olivia Kathryn Packett, beloved nieces and nephews, and special friend, Annette Moyer.
The family will see friends and family from 6:00 until 8:00PM Monday, November 1, 2021, at Citty Funeral Home. You are asked to please follow CDC COVID 19 Protocol and wear a mask if you have not been vaccinated.
