Judy Robbins Lamberth, 76, of Reidsville, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 22, 2025. A devoted wife, mother, G-ma, sister, friend, and librarian, Judy’s life was marked by her unwavering faith in the Lord, love for others, her selfless heart, passion for reading, and her generosity to others. She was the pillar of the family who was always loving, understanding, and compassionate.
Born in Randolph County to the late Gerald Allen and Lois Kate Robbins, Judy graduated from Farmer High School. She then went on to graduate in 1972 from Appalachian State University with her degree in library science. In 1972, she started her career as an elementary school librarian for Rockingham County Schools at Lawsonville Avenue Elementary School. Judy retired from this position in 2003.
Judy was a member of Midway United Methodist Church in Reidsville. She was active in the Adult Sunday School Class, loved and supported the children of the church in many ways, and was passionate about putting a book in each child’s hands through her gifts and her free little library. She was also a dedicated member of the Reidsville Chapter Alpha Delta Kappa and Reidsville Federated Women’s Club.
Judy was a coach's wife who loved all of the athletes as if they were her own. She took pride in supporting her husband, children, and grandchildren in their ventures. She always said her greatest achievement was raising her two children Bob and Katie.
