Judith Ann Texara Mefford

Judith Texara Mefford,74, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Annie Penn Hospital. A Graveside Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00PM Friday, June 12, 2020, in Greenview Cemetery with Rev. Jenny Wilkins officiating. A native of San Francisco, CA, she was a daughter of the late John and Evelyn Wiggins Texara and had lived in Reidsville for the past 6 ½ years.  Judith was a member of the Fellowship Church and a retired Assistant Manager with K Mart.  She was a former professional motorcycle rider and had performed with motorcycle drill teams, she formerly raised horses, and enjoyed flower gardening and traveling with her husband in their motor home.  Mrs. Mefford was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters; Heather Nicole Mefford & Cheryl Lee Bailey, and her sister Phyllis Chrisp. She is survived by her husband of 59 years;  Robert L. Mefford of the home, son;  Robert L. Mefford II (Lisa) of McLeansville, NC, daughter;  Shirlee Mefford Cook of Reidsville, NC, brother; Delos Gerren (Julie) of Nampa, ID, 8 grandchildren and many loving great grandchildren.  The family will be at the residence:  1108 Barnes St.  Reidsville, NC  27320.  Citty Funeral Home is assisting the Mefford family and online condolences may be made at our website; www.cittyfh.com
