Joseph Albert Gardner

Joseph Albert Gardner was called home to his Lord on April 22, 2025, at the age of 74. He was born June 8, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA to Edwin Gardner and Catherine Brennan Gardner.

Joe delighted in his simple and quiet life. He enjoyed fishing, raising his chickens and ducks, finding unique ways to fix anything that needed fixing, spending time in his garden, long walks in the woods with his dog, and early morning coffee on the porch with his beloved wife. He was an active member of his church community since moving to Caswell County 16 years ago.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Barbara; children Joseph Gardner, Timothy Gardner (Tara Aliotta), Daniel Gardner (Kelly Gardner), Rosemarie Asrican (Jim Adams); and grandchildren Dylan, Amanda, Morgan and Tatum.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 12:00PM at Locust Hill United Methodist Church in Reidsville, NC. A luncheon will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to:  Locust Hill UMC 281 Stoney Creek School Rd. Reidsville, NC  27320.
