Jonathan Weir "Jonnie" Holt

Jonathan “Jonnie” Holt, 66, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord Thursday September 16, 2021 at the Gibson House Hospice of Rockingham County. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Sunday September 19, 2021 in Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Billy Harmon officiating. A native of Rockingham County, he was the son of Helen Pegram Holt and the late Walter J. Holt and had lived his entire life in Reidsville. He was a retired employee of American Tobacco Co. and Lorillard Tobacco Co. He enjoyed bowling at Reidsville Lanes, building things, helping the girls with school projects, listening to music, and being outside with nature. Jonnie was preceded in death by his wife: Terry Glenn Holt and his father: Walter Jesse Holt. Survivors include daughters: Kelly H. Rawlins (Beau), Stephanie L. Holt, and Stacy Holt and fiancé Scott McClenny  all of Reidsville, grandchildren: Allison Neal and Gavin Rawlins, step grandson: Gage Rawlins and his mother: Helen Pegram Holt of Reidsville. The family requests that friends refrain from bringing food and visiting in the home during this time. You may come by Citty Funeral Home 8:00 A.M. till 6:00 P.M. on Saturday September 18, 2021 and on Sunday September 19, 2021 from 8:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. to view the body and sign the register. Memorials may be made to: Hospice of Rockingham County P.O.
