John Lawrence Walker

John Lawrence  Walker, 68, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord Tuesday March 19, 2024 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

The family will receive friends 4:00 till 6:00 P.M. Sunday March 24, 2024 at Bethlehem Methodist Church.

A native of Reidsville, he was a son of the late James R. “Jack” and Margaret Williams Walker and had lived in Rockingham County most of his life. He was a retired employee of D.H. Griffin Wrecking Company, Inc. and was a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending auto races, flea markets, and watching old westerns on television. 

He was preceded in death by his parents James R. "Jack" and Margaret Williams Walker, and a sister: Debra W. Dodson. Surviving is a brother: James “Jimmy” Walker and wife Carolyn of Reidsville, NC, sisters: Pam W. Fargis and husband Julius of Reidsville, NC, and Jackie W. Terrell and husband Larry of Reidsville, NC, numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
