Jimmy Pace Clifton

Jimmy Pace Clifton, 77, went to be with his Lord, surrounded by his family on Friday, March 8, 2019, at Annie Penn Hospital.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00PM Sunday, March 10, 2019, in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Elijah Madison officiating.  The family will see friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

A native of Rockingham Co., he was a son of the late Bronza and Lula Kennon Clifton and had lived in Reidsville most of his life.  Jimmy was a Machinist by trade and Carpenter, Brick Mason, and a “Jack of all Trades”.  He had been employed by I.E.M Plastics and Plastics Revolution.  Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and by sisters;  Judy Allen, his twin sister;  Audrey, Moore, & Geraldine Bowman, brothers;  Lee Clifton, & Oneil Clifton, and a granddaughter;  Olivia Faith Sutton.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years;  Sandra Willard Clifton of the home, children;  Crystal and Charlie Sutton and their children;  Emma and Ethan Sutton, & Braxton Sauerbrei of Providence, NC, Ryleigh and Bayleigh Sauerbrei of the home, Penny Clifton and her children;  April Pruitt and Anthony McMillan, Jr of Reidsville, Lisa Clifton Tucker and her children;  Rex Walker and Mary Kay Apple all of Reidsville, brothers;  Robert, Randy, and Larry Clifton all of Eden, sisters;  Diane Hill of Stoneville and Lorene Walker.  7 great grandchildren.  Memorials may be made to:  Rockingham Co.
