Jean Raye Addison Hardy

Jean Raye Addison Hardy, 76, of Reidsville, a loving mother, grandmother and sister went to be with the Lord Saturday November 30, 2019 at her home. Join the family for a time of fellowship and food at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday December 4, 2019 in the Main Street United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. A native of Greenwood, SC, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Pierce Addison and had lived in Reidsville for most of her life. She was a retired Registered Nurse having spent most of her nursing career at Annie Penn Hospital, but also had worked at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN, and at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, AR. as well as several other hospitals. She was a patient’s nurse. She was a member of Main St. United Methodist Church, and attended the adult daycare at the L.E.A.F. Center. Jean was an avid crafter especially needlepoint and quilting. She enjoyed her days and loved to fish. Survivors include her sons: Tom Hardy and wife Kristina  and Dan Hardy both of Reidsville, grandchildren: Will Hardy, Rob Hardy Mary Hardy, Jacob Hardy, Matthew Hardy, sisters: Dianna Lee Addison and Robin Elizabeth Addison Smith (Lonnie) both of Reidsville, and a loving niece: April Lee Turpin.
