James David Brian Green

James David Brian Green, 53, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at his residence.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 10, 2026, in Greenview Cemetery with Rev.  Victor Johnson officiating.

A native of Rockingham Co., he was the son of James Woodson Green and Debra Kinton Gillie and he had lived in Henry Co., VA for the past 20 years.  Brian worked in the food service industry and he enjoyed traveling.  He had lived in Hawaii, California and Key West, Florida.  He loved to laugh and was protective over his loved ones.  Brian was preceded by his aunt:  Sarah Green Covington.

Surviving is his father:  James Woodson Green of Reidsville, his mother:  Debra Kinton Gillie of Martinsville, VA, his son:  James Daniel Tyler Green of Reidsville, his sister:  Tracy Edwards of Martinsville, VA and his niece:  Gracie Edwards of Martinsville, VA

Citty Funeral Home is assisting the Green family.  The family requests that memorials be made to:  Epilepsy Foundation of North Carolina  1920 W. 1st Street Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
