Jacqueline Suzanne “Suzie” Gates, 56 formerly of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Friday January 22, 2021 at her home in Statesville, NC. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday January 30, 2021 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel. The family will see friends following the service. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the family requests that those attending the service wear masks or face coverings and practice social distancing. A native of Reidsville, NC, she was a daughter of Peggy Meeks Gates and the late Adrien B. Gates and had lived in Statesville, NC for the past six years moving there from Reidsville. She owned and operated a house cleaning service. Suzie loved gardening and being with her family, helping others and listening to music. Survivors include her daughters: Miranda Wilson of Maiden, NC, Jennifer Wilson of Mooresville, NC and Hilary Wilson of Morganton, NC, her mother: Peggy Meeks Gates of Reidsville, her sister: Faye Gates of Reidsville, and her brother: Clark Gates (Christie) of Longs, SC, eight grandchildren: Alexis Little, Tyler Little, Christina Dominguez, Luna Ramirez, Adrienna McVay, Carleigh McVay, Austin McVay, and Alexander McVay.  Citty Funeral Home is assisting the Gates family.
