Ingeborg “Inge” Landsiedel Marsh, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 24, 2025, surrounded by her family.
A native of Frankfurt, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Erna Hofinghoff Landsiedel. Inge met the love of her life, Lee Marsh, while he was stationed in Germany and lived most of her adult life in Reidsville as a homemaker. She enjoyed nature and worked alongside Lee in the garden and canned fruits and vegetables to provide for her family and friends. Oma (Grandmother) will always be remembered for being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a friend to many in Reidsville and Burlington. She attended Grove Park Baptist Church, a member of Lamplighters Sunday School Class and was involved with the Seniors in Action ministry. Mrs. Marsh was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years; Lee Vander Marsh; a sister, Traudel Horn and brothers-in-law Erich Messer, Ernst Malcharek and Ralph Horn.
Surviving are her sons: Tommy Marsh (Valerie) of Reidsville, Robert “Bobby” Marsh (Sherry) of Southport, Douglas Marsh (Carla) of Reidsville and Christopher Marsh (Kathy) of Reidsville, her daughter: Jeanie M. Reich (Mark) of Burlington, her sisters: Sigrun Messer and Edelgard Malcharek both of Germany, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held May 10, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Citty Funeral Home Chapel, 308 Lindsey Street, Reidsville, NC with Rev. Rodger Roach officiating and the family will receive friends at the funeral home, immediately following the service.
The family wishes to thank the many wonderful and caring staff members of AuthoraCare that provided loving and supportive care to Inge and special thank you to grandson Johnny for his many hours of assistance.
