Howard Arthur White

Howard Arthur White, 79, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Sunday November 26, 2023 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

The family will conduct a memorial service 3:00 PM Sunday December 3, 2023 at Reidsville Christian Church with Rev. Shannon Newsome officiating. The family will see friends at Howard’s home 709 Woodsway Court Reidsville Saturday December 2, 2023 1:00 P.M. till 3:00 PM.

A native of McDowell County, W.VA., he was a son of the late Herman and Margaret Sides White and had lived most of his life in Reidsville. A retired employee of ZARN, Inc,.he worked at Wolf Creek Golf Course following his retirement from ZARN. Howard was a member of Reidsville Christian Church, and enjoyed his family especially his grandchildren, Evan and Rebecca, friends and golfing.  He was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Clark White, a brother: Kimmie White, and two sisters: Frances Williams and Sandra Denny.

Survivors include his daughter: Catherine W. Sweeney (Michael) of Apex, grandchildren Evan Sweeney and Rebecca Sweeney both of Apex, brother-in-law: Bernard Denny of Julian, and sister-in-law: Louise Ames of Canada.
