Henry Ferrell

Henry Ferrell, 77, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord Thursday September 26, 2024 at the Gibson House formerly Hospice of Rockingham County. 

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 PM Monday September 30, 2024 in Thompsonville Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Victor Johnson officiating. The family will see friends following the service at the cemetery.

A native of Danville, VA, he was a son of the late Roy and Virginia Mae Pruitt Ferrell and had lived in Rockingham County most of his life. He was a retired farm laborer and was a member of Thompsonville Baptist Church. Henry enjoyed fishing, walking, grilling out, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Lula Stanley Ferrell, his parents: Roy and Virginia Mae Pruitt Ferrell, his sister: Jane Ferrell, and his three brothers: Walter Ferrell, Tom Ferrell, and Will Ferrell.

Survivors include his daughter: Mary Ferrell of Harrisonburg, VA, brother: Moses Ferrell of Yanceyville, step-daughter: Betty Pendley of Reidsville, grandchildren: Michelle McKinney, Joshua Willis, Chrystal McKinney, and Amber McKinney, Jessica Pendley, William Pendley, Robert Pendley, Billy Pendley, and Paul Pendley.
