George Richard Vessenmeyer

George Richard Vessenmeyer, 65, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at his home.

There will be no formal service at this time.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late George Francis and Helen Monsees Vessenmeyer and he had lived in Reidsville most of his life.  He was of Catholic faith, and a very artistic and talented musician.  George was a member of a band and he had an awesome love of music.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Adkins Vessenmeyer of Reidsville, his sons, John and Ryan Vessenmeyer both of Reidsville, his brothers, Jimmy Vessenmeyer, Robert Vessenmeyer and Stephen Vesenmeyer all of Florida, his sisters, JoAnn V. DeFossett of Kernersville and Barbara Vessenmeyer of Florida, 1 granddaughter, Carly Vessenmeyer.
