Geneva Smith Moore

Geneva Smith Moore, 94, went to be home with her Lord on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at her home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, January 5, 2026, in Greenview Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating.  The family will see friends immediately following the service at the cemetery and they will see friends at the residence on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM till 1:00PM at 2604 Country Lane  Reidsville, NC 27320.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Peter Garrett and Neil Jones Smith and had lived in Reidsville most of her life.  She was a member of Greenwood Presbyterian Church and a homemaker.  Geneva loved raising a garden and she volunteered at Annie Penn Hospital and at the schools when her children were attending.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband:  Bobby Lee Moore, her son:  Dennis Lee Moore, her grandchildren:  Anna Marie Moore and Joseph Robert Moore and by her brother:  Grady Allen Smith.

She is survived by 2 sons:  Robert Michael Moore (Sharon) and Mark Lee Moore (Lisa) both of Reidsville, her grandchildren:  Joshua Michael Moore (Misty), Mark Lee Moore, Jr. (Michelle), and Leslie Moore Bender (Tim), and by her great grandchildren:  Jaxson Moore, Kyndal Moore, James Bender, Makenzie Moore, Thomas Bender, Luke Moore, Lilly Bender, Evelyn Bender, and Levi Moore.
