Fraysure King Fulton, 73, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord after a hard fought battle with cancer on Saturday February 7, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday February 11, 2026 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Wes Pitts officiating, followed by a reception in the North Parlor of the church. Private inurnment will be at a later date in the St. Thomas Episcopal Church Columbarium.
A native of Wilson County, he was a son of the late Welton K. and Ann Fraysure Fulton and had lived in Reidsville for the past 48 years. He was a retired Probation Officer with the NC Department of Corrections with thirty years of service. Fraysure was awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine for his distinguished service to the state. He graduated from Fike High School in Wilson and was a proud graduate of East Carolina University. While at ECU he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Social Fraternity and was a member of the tennis team. Fraysure was a Loyal ECU Pirates fan and supported his team through both wins and losses. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Reidsville Elks Lodge # 1723 B.P.O.E. He loved his place at Rockingham Lake, where he had a garden, and enjoyed working in his yard in Reidsville.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years: Dale Wilson Fulton of the home, daughters: Ellis Fulton Joyner (Jake) of Clemmons, and Liz Fulton Morrison (George) of Charleston, SC, grandson: George Morrison, Jr., sisters: Janet F. Kniss (John) of High Point and Martha Ann Fulton of Wilson, nephew: James Fraysure Kniss of Jamestown.
