Elsene Hickman Goins

Elsene Hickman Goins, 80, a resident of Highgrove Long Term Care, went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 13, 2020, at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County. A native of Reidsville, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Quincy Lee Goins Hickman and she had lived in Maryland and had moved back to Reidsville 5 years ago.  Her husband James Roy Goins died in 2012. Mrs. Goins is survived by her children;  Jimmy Dean Goins and wife:  Nancy of Waldorff, MD, James Harold Goins of Brandywine, MD, Lee Roy Goins and wife:  Sadie of Ridgeway, VA, Richard Joe Goins and wife:  Kimberly of Myrtle Beach, SC, Betty Jean Goins and husband:  Jerry Michael of Mayodan, NC, Margaret Ann Zorn of Hughesville, MD, Quincy Nichole Mayes and Bradlee Dittmer both of Wylie, TX., 12 grandchildren  and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The family will see friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Citty Funeral Home.  Due to the COVAD19 Pandemic Social Distancing and masks will be required.
