Ellis Claude Craig, Jr., 81, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Tuesday December 31, 2024 at Annie Penn Hospital.
The family will conduct a memorial service 2:00 P.M. Saturday January 18, 2025 at Victory Church with Rev. Tim Greene officiating.
A native of Greensboro, he was a son of the late Ellis Claude Craig, Sr. and the late Wilma Hollifield Craig and had lived in Reidsville for most of his life. He was a retired self-employed painter and a member of Victory Church. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, gardening, camping and working in his yard. Ellis also enjoyed traveling especially to the mountains. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Christina Hardy, a great granddaughter: Lela Hardy , brothers: Jerry Craig, Tony Craig, and Sam Craig, and his sisters: Joyce Ryals, and Judy Ryals.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years: Reginia Tarr “Rae” Craig of the home, sons: Ellis “Junior” Alford of Texas, Patrick Longan and Christopher Craig (Katrinia) both of Reidsville, and Shamus Longan of Semora, daughters: Penny Bledsoe (Drew) and Beth Stone (David) both of Greensboro, and Sherry Alford of Madison, his brother: Pete Craig of Farmington, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
