Edward “Scotty” McCalley, 92, of Centerville, OH, passed away on Saturday October 12, 2019 at Kettering Medical Center Kettering, OH

Graveside Memorial Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday October 26, 2019 in New Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery with military rites performed by the Rockingham County Veterans Honor Guard.

He was born on March 13, 1927 to Edward and Lillian Gertrude Smyth McCalley in Groveland, Florida. Scotty was a Navy Corpsman in WWII and the Korean War. He retired as a Marketing Director for Standard Register after 38 years of traveling the world promoting data systems. On August 13, 1949, he married Nadine Overby and they relocated from North Carolina to Ohio in 1959. Scotty was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and the Lion’s Club. He was an avid golfer and worked part time at Mound Golf Course. He enjoyed family gatherings and was active until he passed. Scotty  was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 60 years: Nadine Overby McCalley.

Survivors include his loving children: Ed McCalley and Susan Harter (Roger), grandchildren: Scott Peth (Holly), Elizabeth McCalley, Erin McCalley, and Annie Musser (Nathan), great granddaughter: Audrey Musser.
