Edward Eugene "Red" Gilley

Edward Eugene “Red” Gilley, 78 of Eden NC went to be with the Lord Thursday December 7, 2023 at Eden Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

There will be no formal funeral services

A native of Reno, NV, he was a son of the late William E. and Martha Ann Griffith Terrell and was adopted at a young age by Richard and Alma Gilley who raised him in Eden. He was a retired employee of Fieldcrest Mills in Eden, NC and was preceded in death by a sister Donna Terrell.

Survivors include his sister: Linda Morgan of Eden, his brother: Ray Terrell of Franklin, VA, his nephew Rodney Morgan (Ashley)of Eden and his niece: Pam Martin (Tim) of Collinsville, VA great nieces and nephews: Derrek Morgan, Amanda Martin, Joseph Morgan, Caleb Morgan and Connor Morgan.
