Edmund Dixon Thomas, III

Edmund Dixon Thomas, III, 40 of Reidsville, died Tuesday November 23, 2021. A memorial service will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Sunday November 28, 2021 at Main Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Tarpley officiating. The family will see friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall of the church and at other times at the residence. He was born in Guilford County, the son of Edmund D. “Ed” and Linda Anderson Thomas and had lived in Reidsville his entire life. He was a former employee of Prince Telecom and later worked for Rockingham Movers. Edmund was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and anything to do with the outdoors. He also enjoyed traveling and meeting people. Survivors include his parents: Edmund D. “Ed” and Linda Anderson Thomas of Reidsville, daughter: Makayla Gossett of Eden, sister: Mary Thomas Carroll and husband Brent of Reidsville, and nephews: Owen Carroll and Gray Carroll, aunts: Sally Thomas Wallace and husband John of Milton, and Judi Anderson Matthews and husband Gene of Russellville, AL, numerous cousins and extended family.
