Doris Benedict Hall, 90, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Tuesday June 7, 2022 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM (Noon) Thursday June 9, 2022 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will see friends 11:00 AM till 12:00 PM (Noon) at Citty Funeral Home before the service.
A native of Glenwood, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Harry S. and Opal Reed Benedict and had lived in Reidsville since 1971. She was the owner/operator of Country Kitchen Restaurant for 20 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and was preceded in death by her husbands: Walter Clay Farrar and William Hall, her sisters: Joyce Harold and Ruby Jeffers and a brother: Bud Benedict.
Survivors include: her son: Dale Allen Farrar (Kimberly) of Gibsonville, daughters: Diana Sullivan (Tommy) and Janet Barber (Brent) both of Reidsville, brothers: Richard Benedict ((Marilyn) of South Carolina, Sonny Benedict, and Max Benedict (Barbara) both of Ohio, sister: Mildred Benedict of Reidsville, grandchildren: Heather Barber, Donna Trent (Scott), Darren Farrar (Brooke) and Brandon Farrar (Sara), great grandchildren: Nora J. Farrar, Ryan Trent, Ashley Surles, Eli Trent, and Emma Trent.
