Donald Arthur Walker

Donald Arthur Walker, 54 of Reidsville passed away Saturday January 1, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 Wednesday January 5, 2022 at Citty Funeral Home Chapel. The family will see friends following the service.

 A native of Rockingham County, Donald was the son of Robert Clay Walker Jr. and the late Brenda Cameron Walker and had lived in Rockingham County most of his life.  He worked as an electrician for many years with ESI, Adam’s Electric and Handy Electric before he became disabled.

Donnie, as most people knew him, was loved by so many people.  He was not one thing, he was everything.  He was a loving father, great provider and had a heart of gold.  His personality was comical and made everyone around him laugh and smile.  Anytime you saw him, he never let you leave without telling you that he loved you.  He would do anything he could for anyone.  He loved his granddaughter Emmy and gave her the nickname Curley Q.

He was preceded in death by his mother; Brenda Cameron Walker, and his grandparents; Garland and Emma Cameron and Clay and Dora Walker. Donald is survived by his three sons, Donald Gammon, Ricky Gammon and Alex Walker; his father Robert Clay Walker Jr and wife Janice, his granddaughter; Emmy Gammon, his brother; Tony Walker and wife Elena, step-brother; Mickey Vernon and step-sisters; Kim Vernon and Crystal Morris and husband Rick.

Other special survivors include Michelle Pennington Walker (Mother of Alex Walker), Renee Gammon (Mother of Donald Gammon and Ricky Gammon) and Allyson Greene who was like a daughter to him.  We will miss him so much and our life will forever be changed.
