Donald H. Walker

Donald H. “Don”  Walker, 92, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord July 16, 2024 at UNC Health Rockingham in Eden, NC. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday July 20, 2024 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Allen Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will see friends 1:00 till 2:00 p.m. Saturday July 20, 2024 before the service at Citty Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of his daughter Geneva Bolden 610 Maple Ave Reidsville. A native of Cleveland, OH, he was raised by Chauncey and Ethel Rummel and was a retired sheet metal worker for Sheet Metal Local # 5 in Knoxville, TN. He had lived in Rockingham County since 1985. Don was a member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by his 1st wife: Jane Walker, his 2nd wife:  Martha Elledge Hawkins Walker, his son-in-law: Bill Wilson and two sisters. Survivors include his: sons: Paul Walker of Youngstown, OH, Bruce Walker of Canton, OH, Keith Walker (Karen) of Phoenix, AZ, and Rev. Dr. Allen Hawkins (Dorcas) of Chattanooga, TN, daughters: Sherry Lynn Walker of Winchester, VA, Geneva Bolden (Gene) and Pat Hurt (Tommy) both of Reidsville, and Teresa Wilson of Eden, grandchildren: Adam Bolden, Brandon Bolden (Adrienne), Bryant Hawkins, (Sarah) and Lindsey Hawkins, great grandchildren: Dakota Sheppard, Bella Bolden, and Diego Bolden.
