Dewey Duane Lester

Dewey Duane Lester, 67, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Friday October 8, 2021 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday October 12, 2021 in Greenview Cemetery. A native of Iaeger, WVA, he was a son of the late Ora L. and Joyce Horn Lester and had lived in Reidsville most of his life. A member of Piedmont Baptist Church, he was a former employee of Cone Mills Edna Plant and later retired from Epes Transport. An outdoor enthusiast, Dewey enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was preceded in death by his wife: Judy Harmon Lester, stepdaughter: Heather Evans, and a brother: Danny L. Lester. Survivors include his son: Stephen D. Lester and wife Kathy of Reidsville, daughter: Kim Lester, step-son: Chris Harmon of Eden, one grandchild: Nathan D. Lester. Memorials may be sent to Citty Funeral Home 308 Lindsey St Reidsville NC 27320 to help with funeral expenses.. There will be no formal visitation. The family will see friends at the home of his daughter: Kim Lester803 N.E. Market St. Reidsville. Citty Funeral home is assisting the Lester family.
