Dewey Arlo Harris, Sr. of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Tuesday January 19, 2021 at Brian Center Yanceyville, NC

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2021, in Evergreen Memory Gardens with Military Rites. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, those attending the service are asked to please wear masks or face coverings and to practice social distancing.  You may come by Citty Funeral Home and pay your respects on Friday, January 22, 2021, from 8:00 AM till 6:00 PM or Saturday , January 23, 2021 from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM. 

A native of Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Thomas and Myrtle Knowles Harris and had lived his entire life in Rockingham County. He was a retired lineman for Duke Power Co. and was the equipment manager for the Reidsville High School football team and a volunteer football coach for 30 years. A US Army veteran, Dewey was preceded in death by his son: Dewey A. Harris, Jr., a brother: Robert B. Harris and a sister: Becky Hall.

Survivors include his wife: Laura Moorefield Harris of Greensboro, son: Robert B. Harris and wife Donna of Greensboro, sisters:” Virginia Page of Summerfield, and Marie Kennon of Yanceyville, grandchildren: David Harris, Tommy Harris, Laura Kay Harris, Joshua Harris, Katie Harris, Nathaniel Harris, Makayla Harris, and Morgan McIntyre.
