Dayne Conway Blair

Dayne Conway Blair, 88, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Saturday June 6, 2026 at Annie Penn Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M Thursday June 11, 2026 in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Cristi Taylor officiating. The family will see friends following the service at the cemetery.

A native of Lucasville, Ohio, she was the only child of Joseph and Geraldine Logan Conway and had lived in Reidsville since 1978 moving here from Illinois. She was a retired employee of Wachovia Bank and was a very accomplished musician. Dayne could play the piano, the organ and the dulcimer. She was a member of Woodmont United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and occasionally played for services. Dayne was a member of the dulcimer group that played locally for nursing homes and churches. She loved horses, working in the yard, and baking, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and looked forward to holiday family gatherings. One of her favorite trips she looked forward to each year was attending the Celebration Horse Show in Shelbyville, TN. Dayne was preceded in death by her husband: James Daniel “Jim” Blair, and her son: Joseph David Blair.

Survivors include her son: James Daniel “Dan” Blair, II (Shawna) of Reidsville, and four grandchildren: Rayne Shore, Haley Shore, Dalton Blair, and Dakota Blair.
