Danny William Pruitt

Danny William Pruitt, 67, of Pelham, NC went to be with the Lord Friday October 31, 2025 at his home with his two girls by his side

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

A native of Danville, VA, he was a son of the late Pressley William and Margaret Wallace Pruitt and had lived his entire life in Caswell County. He was a retired employee of Blue Ridge Fiberboard in Danville, VA and was a member of Pelham United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing billiards and was a member of the APA (American Pool Association). He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and was a Las Vegas Raiders fan. He looked forward to family gatherings and his special time with his grandchildren. Danny was preceded in death by his wife Rhonda Lynn Cox Pruitt.

Survivors include his daughters: Kristy Pruitt (Jason Hancock) and Kelly Pruitt both of Providence, and Kayleigh Cross (Justin) of Ruffin, grandchildren: Abbey Cox, Jaden Dorsett, Lynleigh Kelly, Rowan Cross and Zachary Cross, brothers: Jerry Pruitt (Jerlean) of Madison, Alan Pruitt (Teresa) of Pelham, David Pruitt of Pelham, a sister: Diana Albert (Gary) of Pelham, and the mother of his two girls: Harriet Culp.

The family will see friends at the residence.

Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
