Danny Boyd Lankford, Jr.,  56, We are saddened to share that Danny Boyd “DJ” Lankford, Jr. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at his home in Reidsville, N.C. He was 56 years old.

Graveside Services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The Family will see friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Citty Funeral Home.

DJ was born in Stuttgart, Germany. He was the son of the late Danny Lankford, Sr. and Nancy Carol. DJ was preceded in death by his daughter:  Jessica Renee Lankford.  He leaves behind his wife, Sandra, and their two sons, Albert and Luke of Reidsville; a son , Cody Lankford (Kelly) of Lexington; a daughter, Hannah Vernon (Jordan) of Madison; sisters; Sherry Sands (Keith) of Greensboro and Wendy Roberts (Chris) of Chesapeake Va; 3 grandchildren; Carly and Weston Vernon, and Boyd Lankford.

DJ loved his wife, kids, grandkids, and sisters. He loved hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR racing. DJ was an avid UNC basketball fan and loved watching all things sports. He was a former truck driver with the Guy McNeil Construction Co.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Citty Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
