Danny Eugene Bartlett

Danny Eugene Bartlett, 71, of Ruffin, went to be with the Lord Tuesday August 12, 2025 at Annie Penn Hospital.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

A native of Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Marvin and Jewel Fletcher Bartlett and had lived in Rockingham County most of his life. He was a former employee of G.B. Green and Son Concrete, a former employee of Kuster Trucking Co. and his last job was with Sam Smith Trucking in Eden, NC. Danny formerly raced at 311 Speedway, and enjoyed working on cars, fishing and being with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife: Patti Eggleston Bartlett,  his sisters: Gail Fulp and Janice Ruth, and a brother: Odie Bartlett.

Survivors include his daughter: Tracey Snead of Ruffin, his sons: Michael “Mike” Bartlett (Amanda) of Lewisville, and Kevin Bartlett of Ruffin, his brother: Kenneth “Kenny” Bartlett(Sue) of Eden, and his sister: Melinda Fulp (Mike) of Stoneville, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
