Daniel Donovant “Danny” Courts, 62, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Friday April 17, 2020 at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. A native of Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Daniel Williams and Virginia Barber Courts, and had lived in Rockingham County most of his life. He was an electrician having worked for several electrical contractors in the area, later in life he became a heavy equipment operator. Danny was a US Army veteran , enjoyed watching NASCAR on television, dirt track racing and helping with the Monk Tate Race Team Race Car #88. Survivors include his wife of 14 years Sandra “Sandi” Lucas Courts of the home, son: Shane Lucas (Abby) of Ruffin, and grandchildren: Sarah Lucas, Rose Lucas, Stephen Lucas, and Logan Lucas.
