Crystal Leigh (Laughlin) McGibbony

Crystal Leigh Laughlin McGibbony 45 of Reidsville passed away Monday April 20, 2026 at her home.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday April 27, 2026 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ian Pace officiating. The family will see friends 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM Sunday April 26, 2026 at Citty Funeral Home.

A native of Sylva NC, she was the daughter of Mona Brooks and the late  Kevin Laughlin. She was a registered nurse at Novant Hospital. She loved caring for her patients, going to the beach, spending time with family, and flowers. She was a member of Penn Memorial Baptist Church. Along with her father, she was predeceased by a sister Jamie Laughlin.

She is survived by her husband Matthew Michael McGibbony; her son Mason Michael McGibbony; daughter Carrigan Leigh McGibbony all of the home; her mother Mona Brooks (Butch) of Franklin NC; brothers Dustin Williams of Reidsville and Justin Williams of Franklin ; in-laws Mack and Wendy McGibbony of Reidsville; brother-in-law Denton McGibbony (April) of Summerfield  nephews Braden Edler, Tucker Williams, and Dylan McGibbony; special niece Olivia Ward and her precious fur baby Milo.
