Clyde Edward “Eddie” Mitchell, Jr. 69, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Monday April 7, 2025 at Annie Penn Hospital.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday April 16, 2025 in Evergreen Memory Gardens with Father Frank Seabo officiating. The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Tuesday April 15, 2025 at Citty Funeral Home.
A native of Reidsville, NC, he was a son of the late Clyde Edward Mitchell and the late Katherine Foust Mitchell and had lived in Rockingham County his entire life. He was a former employee of Miller Brewery a was a graduate of Bethany High School. He was a member of Holy Infant Catholic Church and truly enjoyed golfing, attending flea markets, and going out to eat especially at the Sirloin House, Short Sugars, and Sanitary Café.
Eddie loved life and was care free, he never worried about a thing and never met a stranger.
The family would like to thank the Rockingham County EMS, Monroeton Fire Department and the staff of the Emergency Room at Annie Penn Hospital for their care and concern.
Survivors include his sister: Debbie M. Powell of Reidsville, his brother: Mike Mitchell of Reidsville, his nephews: Robert Daniels (Chelly), Michael Powell, and Michael Keith Mitchell, II, niece: Casey Mitchell Warren (John), great nieces: Emma Daniels, Hallie Warren, and McKenzie Daniels.
