Claudine Tuttle Page, 80, of Ruffin, NC went to be with the Lord Wednesday November 10, 2021 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Monday November 15, 2021 in Mount Carmel United Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Lineberry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late John and Alma Tate Tuttle and had lived in Ruffin most of her life. She farmed on the family farm, was a former secretary at Sadler School, and was a former employee of Jefferson Standard, First National Bank, Bank of America and later State Employees Credit Union. She was a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, a 4-H Leader, and she directed Oregon Hill 4-H Club Challenges. Claudine was a member of the Farm Bureau Womens Committee and Advisory Board. She won a blue ribbon for her kosher dill pickles at the Rockingham County Fair. She was a great cook and flower gardener. Mrs. Page was preceded in death by brothers: Ellis Tuttle, Roger Tuttle and Melvin Tuttle, and sisters: Sarah Walker and Alma Sparks. Survivors include her husband: Harold Thomas Page of the home, son: Bryan Page (Chitose) of Jamestown, NC, daughter: Angela P. Barton (Daniel) of Raleigh, and brothers: W.F. Tuttle (Esther), Gaynard Tuttle (Deborah), and Pete Tuttle (Vivian) all of Reidsville, one grandchild Rin Hana Page. The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Sunday November 14, 2021 at Citty Funeral Home.
