Christopher Bradley "Chris" Everette

Christopher Bradley “Chris” Everette, 45 of Clayton, NC Passed away Saturday December 18, 2021. An informal visitation will be held by the family on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 1:00 PM till 3:00PM at Courtland Park in Reidsville. An alternate date will be on Saturday, February 26, 2022, in the event of bad weather  A native of Reidsville, NC, he was the son of the late Billy Ross Everette, Sr. and the late Betsy Link Everette. He was a former salesman for Fleet Pride a truck parts company in Raleigh and was a 1995 graduate of Reidsville High School.  He was an outstanding baseball player and played at the little league and pony league level in Reidsville where he was always a member of the all-star team. In high school he was an all conference baseball player in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grade and in his senior year he was Most Valuable Player on the team.  He was an avid sports fan, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Chris was preceded in death by his parents, his maternal grandparents: Henry “Buck” and Dorothy Hooper Link with whom he lived after his mother’s death, his paternal grandparents: Ross “Ace” and Lucille Chambers Everette, and a sister: Crystal Denny.  Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Tomlinson Everette of Clayton, brothers: Greg Saunders and wife Carla of Reidsville, and Billy Ross Everette, Jr. and wife Penny of Summerfield, and a sister: Kay Everette of Burlington.
