Charlotte Ann Lovings

Charlotte Ann Lovings, 72, formerly of 180 Steamboat Dr. went to be with the Lord on Friday, (July 1, 2022), at Pelican Health & Rehab.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, (July 5, 2022) in Citty Funeral Home Chapel. 

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Gilbert Buford and Mary Ellen Moore Lovings and she had lived in Reidsville most of her life.  Charlotte was a former employee of Macfield and later owned and operated Rockingham Janitorial Service.  She later became a caregiver and was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Ruth Ore, brother, Gilbert Ray Lovings and a grandson, Samuel Purgason.

Surviving are sons’ Scotty Glenn Lovings (Annette) of Eden and Sammy Purgason (Patty) of Roxboro, daughter, Debbie Purgason of Reidsville, brothers, Larry Lovings (Susan), Arthur Lovings (Connie and Charles Lovings (Valarie), sisters, Jennie Cheek (Mark) and Bonnie Easley (Mike), sister-in-law, Robin Lovings,  grandchildren Shea and Amber Biggs, Jennifer Purgason ,Tosha Murray ,Chris and Skylar and Anthony Lovings and 10 great grandchildren.

The family will see friends on Tuesday, (July 5, 2022), from 1:00 till 2:00 PM at Citty Funeral Home.  The family would like to thank the staff at Pelican Health & Rehab for their kind and loving care during Charlotte’s illness.
