Charles Earl Lovelace

Charles E. Lovelace, 71, of Summerfield, NC went to be with the Lord Monday October 11, 2021 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday October 15, 2021 in Greenview Cemetery. Although there will be no formal visitation, you may come by Citty Funeral Home and sign the register and show your respects. A native of Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Sam Pink and Mattie Lee Tuggle Lovelace and had lived most of his life in the Bethany Community of Rockingham County. He was a former employee of Thompson and Arthur Paving Co. and most recently in the last several years he helped several of the farmers in the Bethany Community. Charles enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching T.V. especially NASCAR Races. He was preceded in death brothers: J,C. Lovelace, Floyd Lovelace, and Ernest Lovelace, sisters: Elizabeth Pruitt, Verdie Denny, Dot Flowers, Kathy Wray, and Sadie Pruitt. Survivors include his son: Sammy Lovelace of Reidsville, brother: William Lovelace (Sharon) of Reidsville, sisters: Nancy Mabe of Summerfield, and Jeanette McDaniel of Reidsville, sister-in-law: Linda Lovelace of Reidsville and special friend: Sonia Lovings of Madison.
