Cecil William Robertson, 85, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Beacon Place in Greensboro.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, September 12, 2025, at Thompsonville Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dwayne Anders and Rev. Duane King officiating.
Cecil was a native of Caswell Co. and a son of the late Dan William and Effie Mae Smith Robertson and he had lived in Rockingham Co. most of his life. He was a retired employee of Burlington Industries and a member of Piedmont Baptist Church. Cecil loved his family and he loved tractors and trucks. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Sue Witty Robertson, his daughter: Laura R. Frye, his sisters: Shirley Frazier, Nannie Mae Strader, Louise Little, and Glenda Pinnix, his brothers: Leon Robertson, Robert Robertson and Larry Robertson.
He is survived by his daughters: Anita Kolessar of Stokesdale and Angela Cozart (Thomas) of Greensboro, his brothers: Roger Robertson (Helen) and Mike Robertson (Pat) both of Reidsville, his sisters: Carolyn Hall, Janice Robertson, and Brenda Singleton (Carson) all of Reidsville, his step sons: Eddie Lewis of Reidsville and Brian Witty of Greensboro, his grandchildren: Joshua Robertson (Sarah), Kristy Lewis, Megan Davis (Matt), Morgan Janey-Storby (Liz). Jarrod Robertson, Mason Kolessar, Emily Frye, Jordan Frye, Darius Cozart, and Landon Kolessar, many great grandchildren: Payton Davis, Charlie Davis, Jaxson Statham, Lexi Evans, and Kloe Penn and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will see friends from 7:00 PM till 9:00 PM Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Citty Funeral Home. Those who wish to pay their respects are invited to join the family in the fellowship hall of Thompsonville Baptist Church following the service. Food contributions are welcome and may be carried to the fellowship hall prior to the service.
