Cathy Apple Stone

Cathy Apple Stone, 61, of Reidsville NC went to be with her Lord Tuesday August 18, 2020 at her home.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.

A native of Reidsville, she was the daughter of the late John Elmer and Nina Jackson Apple and had lived her entire life in Rockingham County. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries and a licensed L.P.N. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, and enjoyed Facebook and making graphic for viewing on social media. Cathy was preceded in death by her husband:  Thomas Carlton “Tommy” Stone, Jr., sister: Shirley Apple Miller, and brothers: James Ronald Apple and Wayne Edward Apple.

Survivors include her son: Matthew S. Stone (Victoria)  of Ruffin, nieces and nephews: Rhonda Wood Somers(Boyd) of Reidsville, Jennifer Wood Bates (Tim) of Winston-Salem, Jonathan Leon Wood of Reidsville, Janice Lynn Apple-Noetzel (Gilbert) Summerfield, and Wayne Edward Apple, II of Reidsville, and many loving great nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Kody.

The family will see friends at the home of her son: Matthew S. Stone 8261 NC Hwy 700 Ruffin, NC .
