Catherine Pegram Moore

Catherine Pegram Moore, 78, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Brookdale of Reidsville.

Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Evergreen Memory Gardens Mausoleum.  The family will see friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.  Due to the COVID19 Pandemic, those attending the service are asked to wear face masks or face coverings and to observe social distancing.  People wishing to pay their respects and sign a register may come by Citty Funeral Home on Monday, May 3, 2021, between the hours of 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Catherine was a life-long resident of Rockingham Co. and a daughter of the late Charles Henry “Charlie” and Fannie Smith Pegram .  She was a former employee of Sylvania, a former Teacher’s Aide at South End Elementary School and a retired employee of American Tobacco Co. .  Catherine enjoyed Dancing and was a member of the Carolina Girls Line Dancing group, was a member of Cornerstone Community Church and had assisted with Bible School at the church.  She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother and sister-in-law:  Henry  and Patsy Pegram and brother-in-law; Curtis Apple.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years;  Bobby E. Moore of the home, sons; Tracy L. Moore of Reidsville and Jason P. Moore (Chanda) of Stokesdale, daughter; Heidi M. Blake (Keith) of Raleigh, sister; Linda P. Apple of Reidsville, grandchildren; Savannah Moore, Seth Moore, Sullivan Blake, Hudson Blake, and Jackson Blake.
