Carolyn Lee Peters

Carolyn Lee Peters, 74, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday February 19, 2025 at Gibson House Hospice of Rockingham County.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at a later date.

A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Leona Eperson Peters and had lived in Rockingham County. In her Younger years she worked as a waitress at Short Sugars and later worked as a nurse’s assistant at Annie Penn Hospital. She enjoyed doing all types of arts and crafts, watching television, and listening to music especially country and gospel. Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother: Irvin Peters, Jr. and a sister: Christal Fleming.

Survivors include her sons: Jonathan Shelton and Lee Shelton both of Reidsville, and Sam Shelton of Jacksonville, Fla, a special niece: Chelsey Fleming of Reidsville, nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
