Carol McDaniel Shelton

Carol McDaniel Shelton, 80, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Friday November 15, 2024 at her home.

The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date.

A native of Henry County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Andrew J. and Augusta Elizabeth Keatts McDaniel and had lived in Rockingham County NC since 2009. A retired Textile Worker having worked at Dan River Mills and Fieldcrest Mills, she worked as a private duty sitter after her retirement. She was a member of Sandy Cross Wesleyan Church, and was preceded in death by her husband Johnny L. Shelton, and a sister: Doreen Shelton.

Survivors include her sons: Jonathan E. Shelton (Nicole) of Reidsville, and Samuel I. Shelton (Pam) of Jacksonville, Fla., daughter: Kendra Ann Camacho of Madison, seven grandchildren, a special aunt: Doris Tatum of Axton, VA and an uncle: Fred Keatts of Axton, VA., and numerous loving cousins.
