Carol Rae Champion Pait, 81, of 801 Forest St. went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Ancora Compassionate Care Hospice Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Faith Christian Church with Pastor Robbie Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Cemetery.
A native of national City, CA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Olive Champion and she had lived in Reidsville since 1980. She was a former employee of McDonalds where she was a biscuit maker, a member of Faith Christian Church and she sometimes attended Christian Fellowship Church. Carol was a member of the Reidsville Senior Center and a former member of AMARANTH. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter: Teresa Pait, brothers: Raymond “Butch” Champion Jr. and Roy “Buddy” Champion, 2 grandchildren: Rebecca LeBlanc and Jamie Pait.
She is survived by her husband: Eugene A. Pait of the home, sons: Benjamin Monroe Pait and Eugene A. Pait Jr. (Kim) both of Reidsville, sister: Genie Pasket (David) of San Diego, CA, grandchildren: Jeremy LeBlanc (Amber), Brandi Felice (Jared), Matthew Pait, Ashley Mount (Charles), Robert Pait (Juliana), and Katherine Pait and numerous great grandchildren.
The family will see friends from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM Friday, November 8, 2024, at Citty Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to: Ancora Compassionate Care (Formerly Hospice of Rockingham Co.) P.O. Box 281 Wentworth, NC 27375.
