Carol Sue Jones

Carol Sue Jones, 76, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Sunday October 15, 2023 at Annie Penn Hospital after a lengthy illness.

The family will hold a memorial service 2:00 P.M. Sunday October 29, 2023 at Greenwood Presbyterian Church with Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. The family will see friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

A native of Reidsville, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Pauline Jones and had lived in Reidsville for most of her life. She was a retired employee of BB & T and was a member of Greenwood Presbyterian Church. Carol was a former member of the Reidsville Elks Lodge 1723 BPOE and in her younger years was an avid softball player. She enjoyed traveling with friends and in recent years enjoyed spending time with her friends at Turks.

Survivors include her brother: Ronnie Jones (Barbara) of Reidsville, nieces: Kathi J. Solomon (Jimmy) of Gulf, Cheryl VanHoy (Ricky) and Cathy Stadler (Vince) both of Reidsville, nephew: Ronald Edward Jones (Kimberly) of Pittsboro, and a number of loving friends and extended family.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
