Bobby Ernest Moore, 94, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Penn Nursing Center.
Entombment will be on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the mausoleum in Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Josh Ellis and Rev. Christi Taylor officiating. The family will see friends immediately following the service in the cemetery.
A native of Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Everette and Ethel Hudson Moore and he had lived in Reidsville all of his life. Bobby was a graduate of Elon and he retired from the Rockingham County School System. He was the principal of Lawsonville Ave. School for the biggest part of his career. He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church where he was an active member and served on many committees until his health began to fail. Bobby delivered meals on wheels for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife: Catherine Pegram Moore and by a brother: Charles Moore.
He is survived by his 2 sons: Tracy Moore of Reidsville and Jason Moore (Chanda) of Stokesdale, his daughter: Heidi M. Blake (Keith) of Raleigh, his brothers: Frankie Moore, Freddie Moore (Florence) and Ted Moore (Linda) all of Reidsville, his grandchildren: Savannah Moore, Seth Moore, Sullivan Blake, Hudson Blake and Jackson Blake and sister-in law Delma Moore of Greensboro
