Betty Carol (Clark) White

Betty Carol Clark White, 74, passed peacefully and went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at her residence.  The family will hold a celebration of life 2:00 P.M. Saturday September 29, 2018 at Reidsville Christian Church with Rev. Shannon Newsome officiating.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Odell Bullins Clark, and had lived in Reidsville most of her life.  Betty was retired as a Financial Secretary with Rockingham Co. and a member of Reidsville Christian Church.  She was preceded in death by sisters:  Joanne Joyce, Gilda Moore, & Jean Randolph, a brother:  Billy Shaffer, and a nephew:  Gary Moore.

Surviving is her husband of 55 years;  Howard A. White of the home, daughter;  Catherine  W. Sweeney and husband:  Michael of Apex, NC, brother;  Carl Clark of Reidsville, sister;  Christine Sheppard of Reidsville, grandchildren;  Evan Sweeney & Rebecca Sweeney, dear sister in law;  Sandra Denny & husband:  Bernard and their son:  Schonn  of Julian, NC,  special nephew;  Jerry Joyce, and loving nieces;  Wanda Middleton, Tammy Case, Leslie Randolph, Allison Estrada Randolph, Renee Pierce, Lynn Carroll, & Melodie Moore.

The family will see friends at the residence:  709 Woodsway Court  Reidsville, NC 27320.  Memorials may be made at to:  Reidsville Christian Church  2020 South Park Dr.  Reidsville, NC 27320 or Hospice of Rockingham Co.  P.O.
