Betty Atkins Walker

Betty Atkins Walker, 76, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Tuesday September 5, 2023 at the Gibson House Hospice of Rockingham County. The family will hold a Celebration of Life 3:00 P.M. Sunday September 10, 2023 at Covington Memorial Wesleyan Church. A native of Caswell County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Audrey Huskey Atkins and had lived in Reidsville most of her life. She was a member of Covington Memorial Wesleyan Church where she was the former treasurer and sang in the church choir. A founding member of the WWW, she enjoyed visiting with her friends and attending church at Covington Memorial Wesleyan Church. She especially loved the children of the church. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Donald Kent “Donnie” Walker, and her brother: Albert Lee Atkins. Survivors include a cousin: Mike Huskey who lived with Betty.
