Betty Jean (Myrick) Turner

Betty Jean Myrick Turner, 68, of 1807 South Scales St. went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at her residence.

The family will see friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Citty Funeral Home.  There will be a Memorial Service at a later date.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Beatrice Myrick and she had lived in Reidsville most of her life.  She attended the Salvation Army Church and was a retired cook and waitress at several restaurants in the area.  Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her mother, her husband:  Michael Turner Jr., brothers:  Mitchell Wayne Myrick and Charles Benfield.

She is survived by her sons:  Travis Lee Turner of Reidsville and Colt Kevin Myrick (Aleisha Lane) of Bakersville, daughter:  Brandi Jean Turner of Trinity, brothers:  Jimmy Jones of Reidsville and Donnie Ray Myrick (Debbie) of Reidsville, sisters:  Patricia Myrick McGee (Alfred) of Reidsville, Glenda Benfield Shoemaker of Reidsville, and Helen Marie Cassada (James T.) of Reidsville, 8 grandchildren and a special niece:  Amy Mills of Reidsville.
